Rhyl & District Motor Club organises the Frank Williams Memorial Stages at The Ranges Motor Sport Centre, Trawsfynydd. The event forms a round of the ANWCC (Association of North Western Car Clubs) Championship
Road Rallies form the grass roots level of rallying, they are one of the cheapest forms of Motor Sport as little or no preparation to the car is required. Road Rallies are run on rural roads at night.
Autotests are all about car control. The challenge is to negotiate as quickly as possible a memorised, low-speed course without hitting any markers. While you will rarely venture out of first and reverse gears, you will need to get the hang of handbrake turns
We meet socially every Thursday, sometimes for a quiz or a Play Station Night, but always with the opportunity for an informal drink and a chat. We compete in Karting challenges and the likes against local clubs, and there are several Navigational events during the year
If you like Motor Sport, live in the North Wales area and would like to know more about getting involved as a Competitor, Marshal, Organiser or Spectator then join Rhyl & District Motor Club and open the door to a superb bunch of friendly enthusiasts much like you. Rhyl & District Motor Club recently celebrated its 70th anniversary and continues to flourish thanks to the efforts of both new and experienced members. We meet every Thursday throughout the year socially and to run a range of Motor Sport events throughout the year
