ABOUT Rhyl & District Motor Club
Rhyl & District Motor Club is one of the oldest in North Wales being formed in 1946. Its events have included Frank Williams Stages, the road rallies "Y Rali Gogledd" and the "J D Novice Rally" National Championship Autotests as well as clubman level autotests, production car autotests, autosolo's and gymkanas .
Many Rhyl & District Motor Club members are active competitive members partaking in many aspects of motorsport winning trophies on events and building points in the many club championships to gain club trophies awarded at an annual dinner.

The Club is affiliated to the Motorsport UK which is the governing UK body for motorsport and is a member of both the Association of North West Car Clubs and the Welsh Association of Motor Clubs.

OUR BASE
Back in the lovely village of Tremeirchion near St Asaph LL17 0UN
We are currently meeting on a Thursday evening from 8pm.
​We hold our open committee meeting every month, and a variety of social events for the membership. We always welcome guests and it is an opportunity to discover what the club is about. It is also an opportunity for members to chat with other members on all aspects of motorsport.
NIGHT ROAD RALLIES
The Club has two major road rallies, they are the "Y Rali Gogledd" and the " J D Romain Novice Rally, an excellent starting point for members wanting to try and get into road rallying.
AUTOTESTS / PRODUCTION CAR AUTOTESTS
The club run a series of Autotests and Production Car Autotests year, which are great fun, relatively cheap events to enter and assist in developing advanced driving skills. To get a feel for the events you can either sit in with a Production Car Autotest entrant or come along and marshal seeing the skills at close hand.
MARSHALLING
The club has many opportunities to marshal on its events and events organised by other clubs allowing its members to get up close to the action. The club and our affiliated associations also offers training sessions on all aspects of motorsport marshalling. Motorsport needs volunteers like yourself so that events run competitively and safely.
CAR SHOWS
The club will attend as many car shows as possible. We always have an excellent turnout when we go to these shows, so why not bring your car along too! They are always a good day out for competitors, car enthusiasts, families and just all-around petrol heads. With a mixture of vehicles in the club, we have had all sorts there, such as fully rally prepped cars, road cars and classic cars.
NIGHT NAVIGATION EXERCISES
The club runs monthly Night Navigational Exercises throughout the year usually on the 4th Thursday in the Month, watch facebook for event details. They are besides great fun give novice and expert navigators good experience and knowledge of local rallying roads. They also form part of the Clubmans Championship with a few great awards at the year end
