2026 Clarke Contractors Targa Rally
As we celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Rhyl & District Motor Club, we're delighted to announce that entries for the 2026 we are running our first Targa Rally.
The event will be run on a Motor Sport UK Interclub and Clubman Permit, starting from the livestock Auction Market in St. Asaph and visiting tests across the north halves of maps 116 & 117, incorporating 13 tests with a total milage over 15 miles and a road milage of 85 miles.
The special tests will run on a mixture of surfaces from tarmac, concrete, grass and gravel tracks.
A sump guard is recommended for the more competitive driver.
The event involves driving tests held on private land timed to 30mph with neutral transport sections linking the tests via the public highway.
The entry fee includes full colour printed road book maps and test diagrams.
As always, the event relies on the support of dedicated marshals. If you're not planning to enter, please consider volunteering and encourage fellow club members, friends and supporters to help make this anniversary event a success.
