Firstly, may I say a big THANK YOU to all those who competed on the event, a
huge THANK YOU to those who helped us out with the organisational side of things
- and THANK YOU also to AUTOCOLOURS of RHYL, our sponsors of the event, for
supplying the trophies. Without these people, the event would not have been
possible.
It only started raining at the START of the event - NOT HAPPY - got wet. Sheila
did the signing on, with me just chatting to all - nothing new there!
Handed out all the clues and headed off for Ruthin, on the way had a row with
Keith & told him I was going home. Went to see Sheila in Betws yn Rhus,
then decided to go back to the pub, where it was warm. The first ones back were
the marshals and me Dad (Arthur) - Waited for the first crew to arrive.
They all got back before 11 o'clock, Thank God. Keith & I did the marking
with a few sharp words to each other - no damage done. We really enjoyed organising
the event and DO intend doing another one (if we're still together!)
Once again, THANK YOU to everyone for being there and enjoying the night as
much as we enjoyed organising it.

BIG DAVE & ANN's ANNUAL MARATHON NOVEMBER TREASURE HUNT
Held on Sunday 12th November, Dave & Ann's treasure hunt was a tremendously
popular event with both Members and non members alike, to which EIGHTEEN crews
subscribed!
The event raised £46 for St Kentigens Hospice and £90 for Club funds.
Both Dave and Ann express their thanks to everyone that took part and enjoyed
the afternoon and early evening and hope that everyone enjoyed competing as
much as they enjoyed puting the event on!
