John & Richard finished the event a very creditable 54th o/a

Congratulations lads!

On behalf of John and myself we would like to thank everybody from Rhyl and District Motor Club for all the support they have given us in the Lombard Rally. It really was great to have the support of our local club members especially after not being members very long. It has only been very recently (last 6 months) that we have decided to have a go ourselves. We have completed the JD Romain, one night nav and now the Lombard and the learning curve has been nearly vertical!! (Oh, and we retired from the Welsh Endurance Rally after being outside maximum lateness after getting stuck in a ditch. We don't talk about this though! )

Richard Kay.

Had to take it easy today and limp home with a very sick gearbox, the diff is totally finished but we finished and got home, we are both over the moon with finishing 54th. Thanks for all the support and help the club has given us both on the run up to the event and on the event over the last 4 days it has been noticed and very much appreciated. We have both really enjoyed ourselves with lots of fun.

John Steele.
