30 year old photo?

Look closely at the lady (?) on the left (who's husband, you'll find, is equally as recognisable in the TOP photo on this page!) and the guy with hair (yes, he had some...... once!) 3rd from the right.
They are BOTH current Club members (but NOT related to each other)

JUST A BLAST FROM THE PAST

This is a rally prepared 1961 FORD ANGLIA, just finished being prepared for the first Daylight stage event held by RDMC, followed by a 200 mile, plot and bash night rally.
1. DRIVER...Selwyn Davies....Novice
2. NAVIGATOR..John Devenport..Expert.

This car was built from scratch and had a...1500 cc engine with 28/36 weber carb,2000e gear box,thames van back axle,lotus cortina suspension,armstrong fronts.. koni rears..
This was Selwyns first major rally,we were lying in the top ten after the stages only to be beaten by black ice on the Pondora X roads on the Horshoe Pass leading to Worlds end.

The photo taken at start of Y Rali Gogledd 1970 (we think!) at Thomas Motor Auctions site, Rhuddlan.
