I have just come across your web site and would like to have my name listed in the past members section.
I was a member in the sixties and was a co-organiser of the Gogledd Cymru for several years. I was also the club secretary for a time.
My competition experiences included an entry on the London to Sydney Marathon with co-driver Martyn Esmor Thomas and navigator Barry Hughes in car number 21. (Now restored I believe)
Barry was a professional photographer and made a film of our exploits. Unfortunately, Barry died about 20 years ago.
He had a large collection of photographs of many other International and National Rallies.
I wondered if anyone new if this collection has been preserved. It would make a very interesting exhibition.
Barry was asked to show the Marathon film by various clubs and organisations and he presented it together with his live commentary on over fifty occasions.
I would like to trace this film and have it preserved by having video or DVD copies made.
I think his wife's name was Isabelle and they lived in Wrexham but I do not have a record of his address. I believe he worked for Monsanto.
Can anyone help?
Greetings to all Motor Club Members from the sixties

Could anyone shed light on any of this? It would certainly make for interest to other members, both past and present.

I do also have a phone number for Berwyn if anyone would like to contact him personally. Ed.
